This doesn't interfere with falling asleep at bedtime. No more guilty feelings. I surrendered and find I have no guilt, just delighted to accomplish more without suffering pangs of guilt. I wish that work was like Kindergarden and every afternoon we pulled out cots for a sleep session. 3 p.m. is the magic sleep hour for me. Some doctors believe that we get tired then because we don't take in enough hydration and that wears out our brains. Not sure I agree. I slept for an hour this afternoon and now feel refreshed. It doesn't make it more difficult for me to fall asleep at night either. I'm going to miss my afternoon naps when I return to work full time! I am a dedicated napper. The power of suggestion and all that. Didn't I read somewhere that yawns are contagious for social reasons and that we are more likely to yawn when someone we care about yawns and less likely when it's a stranger or on TV? Or, did I just dream that up? I'll let you all know if I remember after I go take a nap. I was sort of appalled to find that I was yawning like crazy while I read the comments.
